What is the Ultimate Football Network?
UFN is a free, Fantasy Football Research and Management Tool. Fans can not only find, share and contribute football content from around the Web, they become experts along the way. Add in fantasy roster management tools and you'll see why UFN is the ultimate football resource.
How Does The Ultimate Football Network work?
UFN creates a continuous NFL news feed by aggregating NFL-related social media. That means we take everything.....news articles, blog posts, message board threads and anything else newsworthy...and add it to the UFN news feed. The UFN news feed keeps track of:
- who wrote the content
- where and when it came from
- what teams and players are mentioned in the content
UFN fans can then see customized news feeds based on the hottest (or latest) content about the teams and players relevant to them. This news feed is ideal for managing fantasy rosters as fans won't have to spend hours Googling for the information they need to help them make their roster decisions.
And when fans can do their research and manage their rosters all in one place....they'll spend far less time looking for content and more time enjoying winning their leagues!

What are the rules?
The Ultimate Football Network and its community determines what is and is not appropriate when it comes to articles and comments. Personal attacks and/or inappropriate language may be flagged by the community and subsequently removed. Hate speech will never be tolerated.
The Hottest Football Content On The Web
How can I see just the hottest content about my favorite team or player?
The Ultimate Football Network adds tags to all content for every team and player mentioned in that content. Simply click the tag of the team or player you want to search for or use the “Quick Search” box on the right side of the Articles page and Ultimate Football Network will show you content by team or player.
What if I want to see the hottest content for all of my fantasy players?
That's easy. Just add players to your "My players" feed and UFN will create a custom news feed for you. Either add players individually by visiting their player page and clicking "Add To My Players" or simply import your fantasy rosters.
What kinds of content can I add?
We know that the best football content is out there and we know it doesn’t come in one form. It may come from a blogger, a local beat writer, fan message boards and forums. Whether it’s breaking news or an interesting discussion (cough, argument) between fans, add it to the Ultimate Football Network and we’ll tag it and sort it for the rest of the community.
How do I rate content?
It’s easy. If you like content, give it a Touchdown. If you don’t like it, throw the penalty flag. When you rate content you are increasing your own Football IQ as well as contributing to the community by helping to organize the content for other fans. The “hottest” articles are the ones rated highest by fans.
Fans can rate both articles and comments.
Mangaging Fantasy Rosters
How do I import my fantasy rosters?
If you play in fantasy leagues at ESPN or Yahoo, we've got you covered! Just go to the Teams & Players page and enter your ESPN and/or Yahoo login information and UFN will import your fantasy rosters automatically. All of the players on your fantasy rosters are automatically added to your customized player feed.
What if I make roster changes at my ESPN or Yahoo League page?
No problem. Just click the "reload roster" button on the Teams & Players page next time you visit UFN. UFN will synch your rosters and update your player feeds.
What if my fantasy leagues are hosted at another site.
As of now, UFN only supports ESPN and Yahoo. The good news is, that covers most of you. We're continually adding features and working to improve UFN and anticipate adding support for additional fantasy providers going forward. Football IQ: Who Knows Their Football?
One of the reasons we founded UFN was to make sense of the endless amount of football content out there on the world wide web. So we've built in algorithms to track not only what stories are "hot", but algorithms that keep track of which users and sources are highly rated. We've got lots of other ideas about what we are going to do with Football IQ in the future...but we'll leave it at that for now.
What is Football IQ?
Football IQ is a score generated by UFN based on a number of factors. Do you add content that other fans like? Do other fans agree with the way you rate articles and comments? Do you make comments that other fans rate highly? Are your blog posts rated highly? All of these things go into your Footbal IQ.
What is the Ultimate Fan?
The Ultimate fan is different from the Football IQ score. The Ultimate Fan score takes a fan's passion into account, so activity is more highly rated in this category. A more active fan can have a higher Ultimate Fan rating even if fans don't always give good ratings to their content or commentary.
What are "Top Sources"?
UFN keeps track of which sources and authors are continuously producing the best content, whether that comes from an estabished member of the mainstream media or you. The top 100 sources, in order of rating, are listed on the Fans page.
